Save Our Precious Children Foundation

Every child deserves a place to belong.

SOPCF builds communities of real homes — where orphaned, vulnerable, and at-risk children are healed, educated, and empowered to give back.

“Orphans and Vulnerable Children are my heart’s calling. I want those most important to me to have their financial burdens eased, their career goals met, and to be able to sleep well knowing their futures are more than secure. The world is a much bigger place than this — and I feel a compulsion to help those orphans beyond my borders.”

About SOPCF

Not just a charity.
A community.

Save Our Precious Children Foundation is its own charitable organization, with its own board and its own leadership. The Summers Family Foundation is a founding supporter and its largest expected funder — not its owner. SOPCF builds and operates campus communities, places where children don’t just receive care, but learn, grow, and eventually give back.

Each campus is built around real homes rather than institutional buildings: six to eight children to a house, a small team of professional cottage parents, and a working ranch, school and healing center around them. No child is a passive recipient. The campus is their home, and the community is theirs to help build.

The covenant at the center of SOPCF is simple: receive care, build yourself, and give back. Children who were served become the adults who serve others.

How We Serve

Three pillars. One child.

Every child at an SOPCF campus receives the same three things — in the same order, with the same intention.

01

Spiritual Development

Grounding children in an understanding of their own worth — not as a religious prescription, but as the foundational condition for growth. A child who knows their own value makes different decisions than one who has been taught they have none.

02

Personal Healing

Addressing the trauma that defines so many of these children's histories. This is the first work — no education takes root in an unhealed person. Counseling, community, and structured healing environments precede every other intervention.

03

Education

Education as a preventive strategy against the defeatism imposed by childhood deprivation. Trade schools, charter programs, community learning, and university support — a genuinely open future for every child on campus.

The Covenant

Receive care.
Build yourself.
Give back.

Every child who receives care at an SOPCF campus carries an obligation forward — not a debt, but a covenant. The child who was helped becomes the adult who helps others. This is how generational impact is created, not just generational funding.

Why This Matters

The scale is immense.
The response must match it.

152 million children around the world have lost one or both parents. 412 million children survive on less than $3 a day. 5,700 more children become orphans every single day. These are not abstractions — they are children with names, with potential, and with a right to safety and care.

SOPCF is not trying to solve the global crisis alone. But the Sebastian’s Ranch model — home-centered, replicable, and covenant-driven — is designed to prove that a better approach is possible.
