The Founder's Call
Brian Summers was led to love children.
He didn’t build this organization from a position of detached philanthropy. He lived the reality that SOPCF is designed to address — and he spent two decades working directly with orphaned children, seeing at close range what adequate care means and what the absence of it costs.
His parents — people of modest means — raised him with two convictions: that hard work builds a life, and that caring for others gives that life its purpose. Those two convictions became the architecture of the Summers Organization. The enterprise is built to generate resources. The Summers Family Foundation is built to deploy them.
SOPCF is the primary instrument through which that mission is carried out. It is not a line item in a budget. It is the reason the enterprise exists.

The Structure
Two entities. One mission.
The Summers Family Foundation and Save Our Precious Children Foundation are separate legal entities — one funds, one operates.
The Summers Family Foundation
The giving institution. The long-horizon vehicle through which the Summers Organization’s distributable cash flow is deployed philanthropically. SOPCF is a separate organization, and the Foundation is its largest expected funder — it does not own or operate campuses.

The operational entity. SOPCF designs, builds, and operates campus communities for orphaned, vulnerable, and at-risk children. Funded by the Summers Family Foundation and led by Sandy Chiamis, Co-Founder.
